CHATEAU DU JONCET

While writing about my recent visit to the showhouse, I learned that Josh Hildreth’s grand salon at the DC Design House 2017 was inspired by Hubert de Givenchy’s French country home, Chateau du Joncet.  Curious, I set out to learn more about Mr. Hildreth’s starting point.  I’m so happy I did, as the French designer’s country manor is as dazzling as the couture he’s designed since founding La Maison de Givenchy in 1952.  Join me for a tour of the moated 16th Century Renaissance castle, and residence of Hubert de Givenchy, Chateau du Joncet.
