Christine Stucker and James Veal. Interior Designers, Co-Principals of Stewart-Schafer.
For James Veal and Christine Stucker, the talented duo behind Stewart-Schafer, “believing in what you do,” to quote Christine, is the key to transforming dreams to reality. As Co-Principals of their multidisciplinary design and architecture studio, the husband-and-wife pair create timeless objects, furnishings, and sophisticated environments for both commercial and residential spaces. I’m so pleased to add my interview with James and Christine to the Style Profile series!
I’m trying something a little different this weekend, and as per reader requests, focusing less on sale overviews and more on specific sale finds. Send me an email or a text and let me know what you think, as well as which format you prefer!
Yesterday afternoon Benjamin Moore announced their Color Trends 2018, a curated palette of 23 highly influential hues that will be trending on everyone’s paint color wish-list in the year ahead. To select these shades, the Benjamin Moore Color and Design team underwent a year-long research journey to 30 cities across 12 countries, attending more than 20 industry shows and taking cues from the arts, design, architecture, pop culture, fashion, home design and more. The #ColorTrends2018 palette includes a beautiful spectrum of reds, from hints of blush to deep oxbloods, which pair perfectly with their carefully selected array of whites, neutrals, and complementary bold hues. Of the 23 colors, Benjamin Moore has named Caliente AF-290 its Color of the Year 2018, a vibrant, charismatic shade of red. A full post on Caliente AF-290 is coming, but first see the full roster of 23 VIP hues.
