DONALD TRUMP, ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, and DORYA preview the Trump Home by Dorya Collection
Guests congregated on the third floor of the Trump Soho Hotel for the New York City preview of the Trump Home by Dorya Collection, hosted by Donald Trump, Architectural Digest, and Dorya.

During my visit to High Point in the Spring, I was introduced to a new luxury furniture collection in partnership between Dorya and The Trump Organization: Trump Home by Dorya. I enjoyed my Spring tour of the Trump Home by Dorya collection immensely, so I was thrilled when I received an invitation to attend the Trump Home by Dorya Gala Preview on October 29th at the Trump SoHo Hotel, here in New York City.

The VIP event was hosted by Donald Trump, Chairman and President of The Trump Organization, Margaret Russell, Editor in Chief of Architectural Digest, and F. Doruk Yorgancioglu, CEO and President of Dorya. Editors, designers, and special guests were in full attendance for the glamorous furniture unveiling.

A glamorous mix of luxury materials with ten finishes sets the elegant collection apart. Vignettes include combinations of grey, metallics, and smoked tones mixed with stainless steel and marble, as well as settings that showcase bronze and cream tones in rich contrast with black lacquer or espresso mahogany and embellished with French gold detailing.

It is no surprise that accolades for the collection have already begun coming in. The Trump Home by Dorya V. 3000 Bar was recently nominated for the Pinnacle Design Achievement Award by ASFD, American Society of Furniture Designers. Designed by Dorya’s Creative Director, Megan Perry Yorgancioglu, the statement piece exhibits the luxurious elegance of modernism. The exquisite style, details, and finishes are signature design marks for the 50 piece bespoke Trump Home by Dorya collection that debuted during the High Point April 2014 International Furniture Market.

“It was not only important for us to hit the high notes on the expectation for this collection, but to display our company’s range of extraordinary craftsmanship, talents, and abilities,” notes Dorya Creative Director, Megan Perry Yorgancioglu. “There is an endless curiosity for us to uncover designs that complement the modern lifestyle. We wanted to create a collection that would be different and unique to the Trump name but still show Dorya’s superior quality.”

Dorya’s well-deserved reputation for innovation, excellence in design, and production of high quality furniture is beautifully showcased by the Trump Home by Dorya collection. Dorya’s entire production process, from the moment the raw wood is cut until the product is finished or upholstered, occurs in the company’s Izmir, Turkey production facility using state of the art technology and conventional craftsmanship as the fundamental feature. All pieces are handmade and made to order. Trump Home by Dorya can be purchased through authorized Trump Home Galleries and exclusive architecture and interior design firms.
