A little over a week ago I had the pleasure of spending the day in the Hamptons with the amazing Kravet team. Tina and I with twelve others, departed bright and early from the D&D Building on a private bus, headed express to our first stop of the day: breakfast hosted by Mabley Handler at their lovely Water Mill studio (see the Living Room they designed for Holiday House Hamptons here). Next we took a tour of Holiday House Hamptons, which was great to see without as many guests as on Opening Night. We then headed to The Hampton Designer Showhouse (see the Master Bedroom, designed by Celerie Kemble, below), popped into the new Serena and Lily store in Wainscott, and had lunch at the stylish new Highway Diner, all before heading back to Manhattan. It was such a fun day!
More about The Hampton Designer Showhouse. Now it it’s twelfth year, the showhouse is presented by Traditional Home to benefit Southampton Hospital . Now in full swing, they’re open every day until Monday, September 2 from 11am to 5pm. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Visit www.hamptondesignershowhouse.com for more information and for directions. I recommend visiting the house in person, but until you can or in case you’re not able to, here are some images of one of my favorite rooms in the house: the Master Bedroom, designed by Celerie Kemble.
