Holiday House Hamptons is a designer showhouse open to the public through Sunday July 21st in Bridgehampton, New York. Founded to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, each space in the house is themed around a holiday or special moment in life that inspires the designer and celebrates life. On Tuesday I shared pics from the showhouse’s Opening Night Gala, Wednesday of Donna Livingston’s entry, and yesterday of Jennifer Duneier’s kitchen and breakfast area.
Today we tour the great room by Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler of Mabley Handler, inspired by the holiday: In By Memorial Day. With a color palette in gradations of the summer sky: from lavenders to pale and watery blues, and of the beach: in every shade of white from sandy to pure, the great room captures the sense of escape and soothing, relaxed days the Hamptons are known for after Memorial Day.
A subtly iridescent wallcovering from Phillip Jeffries clothes the room in a warm glow.

Visit us again tomorrow, when we’ll visit the next room on our Holiday House Hamptons tour.
