Hi, it’s Alyson from The Beauty Vanity, back with my monthly beauty column. I’m counting down the days till Thanksgiving not only because I can’t wait to spend some downtime with the fam, but because of the FOOD! Personally, I look forward to the cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, so I’m getting into that Thanksgiving spirit with these beauty products that contain pumpkin and cranberry.

Why not add some pumpkin colored makeup products into your makeup routine? You can add it as nail polish (like the butter LONDON nail polish in Brick Lane) or by using it as eyeshadow (like the Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow in Pumpkin). With a shade this warm, pumpkin eyeshadow is a nice transition shade if you’re going for a brown smokey eye.

Also, pumpkin is actually a natural enzyme and is really good for your skin, so it can help exfoliate and brighten your skin. Next time you see pumpkin in a skin care product like this Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, don’t be afraid to try it!

Dark red is such a quintessential holiday color and you’ll instantly get into the holiday mood using this Essie nail polish in Limited Addiction and Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Cranberry.

Now that the weather is colder, enjoy a nice warm bath using holiday scents like the Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Bath Jelly. I’m a bit of a cranberry fanatic, so I always light cranberry candles during this time of the year too.

Hope you enjoy this holiday with family and friends! See you in December! 🙂

xx, Alyson from The Beauty Vanity
