Jean-Louis Deniot Striped Bathroom

A playful hand transforms what could be an ordinary rectangle of a bath into a visually spectacular geometric space. A linear accent wall with asymmetrical striped wallpaper stretching up to the ceiling and down to floor stands in contrast with a round mirror, a brass chandelier with four rectangular lights on the diagonal, and a toilet and sink vanity with sharply squared corners.

The mirrored sink vanity adds another dimension to the room’s  sense of movement and reflects the geometry of the facing wall. So as not to  distract from the graphic circles, squares, rectangles, and lines in the space, the color palette is kept high in contrast and refined to two colors: grey and white.

I’ve always loved this powder room. I love the stripes on walls and floors and adore the clever mirrored vanity which reflects the stripes!
