Statement earrings under $50 // face-framing, neck-elongating jewelry staples to wear year round

Today is the last day to save up to 25% at the GOBIG Shopbop Sale!* Earlier in the week I shared 163 Style Ideas from the GOBIG Shopbop Sale,* and this morning I finally got a moment to sit down and shop the sale myself. At the moment my wardrobe feel very well-rounded and ready for Spring and Summer, so my focus for this shopping event was on jewelry, – as in 5 pairs of statement earrings, all under $50 – and 3 gift items* for friends’ upcoming birthdays. I’ve linked to 4 of the 5 earrings below, and find the fifth pair here.*

I recently wrote about the love I have for my 4 pairs of Beaded Tassel Earrings, their face-framing quality, and the way they elongate the neck.  Whenever there’s a huge online sale, before browsing the sale I survey my closet, scan my calendar, and make a list of items that could fill in wardrobe gaps and take existing pieces to the next level. It’s necessary to make a list before shopping, because otherwise I buy things I don’t need or that are near duplicates of what I already have. Lately I’ve been feeling like I wear the same earrings too often, so I decided on the 4 styles below (click the “+” symbol to shop), this fifth pair,* and these white and gold gift items* that with the 15% savings come in at $15 each (compared to $25 elsewhere*).

I love these pink and blue earrings* because I wear a lot of pink, blue, and blush pink, the beaded tassel silver earrings* are a great compliment to a platinum necklace I wear often, the black tassel earrings* can be dressed up or down, and the same with the black and grey gem drop earrings.* Today is the last day to save, so don’t delay!
