Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning French architect Christian de Portzamparc, One57, at 157 West 57th Street, is one of the most talked-about new residential buildings in Manhattan. Completed in 2014, it stands 75-stories high and contains 92 condominiums, above a new Park Hyatt Hotel with 210 rooms, set to become the flagship Hyatt property. As of January 2015, it is home to the most expensive residence ever sold in New York City.

Today we’ll tour a luxurious three-bedroom model apartment on the 58th floor, decorated by New York-based interior designer, Jamie Drake. Listed at $27 million for the unfurnished apartment and $28.5 million for the furnished apartment—excluding the artwork, this five-star Midtown residence features breath-taking views of Central Park, access to a 24-hour doorman and concierge, a fitness center, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a library, a private dining room, and a screening and performance space. The decor is a decadent study of  modernized “Hollywood glamour,” a medley of over-scaled 1940’s-influenced furniture, and gilt and mirrored finishes, with abundant amounts of velvet and silk. This penthouse does not dissapoint.

  • Love the one of the dining table – and the breakfast table, too!

  • 100% agree – killer.

  • The view is beyond and I love the color palette!

  • Me too – the master bedroom is the first room in this apartment that caught my eye.

  • The bedroom with the gold wall is eye-catching. I could lay my head there every night.

  • This apartment is amazing! I love the pops of purple against the creamy white couch. Obsessing over the dining table and chairs too. P.S. Gotta love that awesome view.

  • What an amazing apartment. I am obsessed with every light fixture. The one over the dining room table…stunning!!
