When interior designer Peter Mikic fell in love with a dilapidated mid-19th-century Italianate stucco house in Notting Hill, one of London’s swankiest residential neighborhoods, “it was a complete dump.” As he explained to Elle Decor, “There was an overwhelming amount of work to do, and that’s what got me excited.”

With enthusiasm, Mikic began restoring the 6,200SF house into a spectacular home for himself and his partner, TV producer Sebastian Scott. From the beginning Mikic’s vision for their abode was crystal clear. “I wanted the house to look as though Claridge’s hotel had been transported to 1950s Milan,” he explains.  Take a look at the slideshow: today’s home tour is the absolute epitome of modern, masculine glamour.
