Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Rather than a round up of emerald interiors or fashion, I thought I’d share an inspiring sentiment from Irish statesman, author, orator, political theorist, and philosopher, Edmund Burke (1729– 1797).
“Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little,” is one of the Irishman’s most well-known quotation. It’s a fact that I often forget and one that I find important to remember.
Yesterday Vikas and I braved the chill to complete the NYC Half Marathon, our first time walking more than 2 miles since October, when we deferred our training for the NYC Marathon so that I could focus on the show house that I was honored to take part in. I was really unsure if I’d be able to finish the race, or enjoy it (due to lack of training), but we did both and not only finished strong but had a great time doing so.
Now I’m ready for a really great week ahead with the 12 American and Canadian bloggers arriving in Manhattan tomorrow for BlogTour NYC. Tin and I are excited to be hosting an entire day of design for the group on Friday March 21st, with many great events leading up to it, starting Tuesday.
