In anticipation of the festivities of NYE, and with excitement for the new NEW year ahead:

a few glitzy, glammy images inspiring me on this New Year’s Eve eve.

And a little narrative to go along:

————–

Getting ready… gown ON…

… Champagne and oysters with dear husband before going out…

… our first glimpse of the gorgeous tablescape, set, at the home of our close friend where we will spend the evening:

…a close up of a beautiful printed linen fabric by Pierre Frey Paris, “inspired by the Eileen Gray glossy folding screens, geometrical shapes offer infinite combinations on a viscose linen base with two silvery and gold hues,” lining the walls of our friend’s powder room.

… on our way home, after an amazing evening, a few hours into the first morning of 2012.
