Hi, it’s Alyson from Beauty Vanity, back with more beauty inspiration. With so many exciting Fall fashion collections coming out, I can’t help but think of ways to slowly transition my makeup into this new season.  Here in California, summer is still alive and strong, so right now, I want a look that doesn’t necessarily scream summer or fall makeup, but is a good medium between the two seasons.

This summer, I’ve been reaching for all kinds of brights: corals, pinks, and reds.  Here, in the look above, I kept my eyes really neutral with matte medium browns and showed off the brights on my cheeks and lips.  The blush I used is City Color Cosmetics Be Matte Blush in Pink Grapefruit and for my lips, I used Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Sweetheart.

For an easy transition, you don’t have to switch up your entire makeup routine; you only need a few adjustments.  I changed two of my makeup products to make my look more autumnal by reaching for a plum lip and blush instead.  The sheerness of the plum lip balm also adds to this easy transition since it’s still pretty warm out.
