MEET SANDRA

Today’s post features the style, insight, and talent of Washington D.C.–based interior designer Sandra Meyer of Ella Scott Design. Founded in 2001, “ESD,” Ella Scott Design is known for clean, functional spaces, regardless of genre, that are uniquely tailored to each client’s lifestyle and aesthetic. As Sandra puts it, “I am passionate about pushing the lines between styles to create interiors that are interesting because they are not straightforward.”

When asked about her philosophy on living the life she dreams about (I am often intrigued by responses to this question), Ms. Meyer says, “It’s important for me to dismiss the notion that I am never quite there, or there is a bigger, better, more successful place I want to be.” Keep reading to find out Sandra’s full thoughts on this, and then let me know your own impressions, and which ESD spaces resonate most with you in a comment or an email.
