I hope you had a really relaxing President’s Day weekend. Vikas and I chilled at home, went dancing to 90s music for a friend’s birthday, took two yoga classes, and caught up with another friend over brunch. It snowed (#love), Vikas made progress on season two of House of Cards (way too dark for me to even dream of watching), and I installed sconces in our bedroom.
In light of the President’s day holiday, I thought today would be perfect to share a few of the magnificent photographs of young American artist, David Benjamin Sherry. Based in New York City, Sherry’s photography explores color through a mixture of landscape and studio work.
All of the photographs in this post are from his 2013 “Wonderful Land” series.
His landscape photography of the American West is absolutely stunning. I’m so glad to have been introduced to his work while prepping for tomorrow’s “At Home in New York” column.
Which New York City taste-maker features one of Sherry’s photographs in his bedroom? Til tomorrow,
