As New York Fashion Week comes to a close, let the processing of the looks presented on and off the runway over the last eight days begin. On the streets and in the front rows, Chloe’s new handbags were seen on fashion’s most influential bloggers, from Amy Song of Song of Style to Leandra Medine of Man Repeller. Chloe’s Hudson bags are clearly the “it” bags that stole Fashion Week.
Chloe was founded in 1952 by Egyptian-born Parisienne and bohemian spirit, Gaby Aghion. In rejection of the stiff formality of 50s fashion, Aghion and partner Jacques Lenoir presented Chloe’s first collection at renowned artists hangout Café de Flore. The Left Bank cred (read: youthful, spirited) that the fashion house cemented from their very first show has helped to shape the concept of ‘the haute boho look’ that we know today. The Hudson bags have the same feminine, yet sophisticated, look that the house is know for. Check out how fashion’s most followed bloggers wear them.
