One of the many highlights of my visit to High Point Market in April was viewing the new collection by Celerie Kemble for Henredon and Maitland-Smith. For Henredon, Ms. Kemble’s collection includes upholstery and furniture, and for Maitland-Smith: lighting, accessories, and accent pieces. All will be available for purchase this Fall, through interior designers and fine furniture retailers.
As skillfully illustrated in the Master Bedroom that Celerie designed for the Hampton Designer Showhouse (open to the public through September 2nd): Kemble’s upholstery and furniture for Henredon, lighting, accessories, and accent pieces for Maitland-Smith, floor coverings for Merida, and her wallpaper and textiles for Schumacher, could not be prettier when employed together.
With Fall approaching, and Celerie Kemble for Henredon and Maitland-Smith soon to be available to the trade, I thought I’d take you on a tour of some of the great pieces Tina and I look forward to specifying in our current and future design projects. Bamboo motifs abound on coffee tables, a brass and glass bar cart, and Kemble’s wall shelves. Palm leaves are also given a fresh update on wallpaper and lighting. 1970s and 1940s silhouettes are in full effect. And brass, glass, leather, and burled woods are everywhere. We love it – let’s take a look.
Which pieces are your favorites?!
