celebrity makeup looks

 HI, IT’S JENNIFER!

Hi, it’s Jennifer from Hometown Heroine, back with my monthly beauty column. I must say: 2014 was a year of learning for me. This time 12 months ago, I hadn’t even started my blog and makeup was just something I did in the morning before I went to class. Clearly a lot has changed in a year. 2015 is going to be the year that I challenge myself stylistically with my beauty routine. Here are the five celebrity looks that top my list of 2015 beauty resolutions.

FRENCH AND FISHTAIL BRAIDS

First and foremost, my biggest New Year’s beauty resolution is to start styling my hair more intently. I’ve gotten into the habit of wearing my hair the same way (straightened with sea salt spray to give it a messy vibe). That look is simple to do, and takes less than 10 minutes. I’m a huge proponent of braids, so I vow to work halos, French and fishtail braids into my style this year. With a little added texture and some volume at my roots, this style should be in my grasp. These are the products I will use:
