Hi, it’s Alicia from The Dumbbelle! With so many beauty products on the market – and many of them overly hyped up – it can be hard to determine if they really are that good. To save you a little disappointment, today I want to share my opinions on a few products I believe are totally worth the hype. I’ve pulled together 5 that have quickly become cult favorites and with good reason – they’re game changers!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, $54 – The Naked palettes are a worldwide phenomenon in the beauty industry. My favorite is the Naked 3; soft pinks and neutral brown perfection. I reach for it all the time! Each of the palettes come with 12 universally flattering shadows that work for both day and night. It’s definitely an investment piece, but If you haven’t already, pick one up – asap!
BeautyBlender, $19.95 – If you want your makeup to look fresh and airbrushed, the beautyblender should be your new BFF. This pink egg-shaped sponge makes blending a breeze, leaving you with a completely flawless look (and many compliments!)
Benefit They’re Real! Mascara, $10 – Nothing makes me feel more pretty and awake than long, jet-black eyelashes. Too Faced They’re Real! Mascara lengthens, lifts and thickens, leaving my lashes looking really full and lush.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Dip Pomade, $18 – Anastasia Beverly Hills has single handled-y changed my eyebrows. I love her Brow Wiz pencil and even more so, the DIPBROW Pomade. Smudge-proof, water-proof, insanely blend-able, perfect shade, I can go on and on. Anastasia is the Queen of Brows and that sentiment shines through in her products – she knows of what she speaks.
Too Faced Melted Lipstick, $21 – One word: gorgeous. Too Faced Melted has the lasting power of a stain, pigment of a lipstick and shine of a gloss. Long-lasting and dries to a matte finish. My go-to shades are “nude” and “peony.”
