Miranda Brooks at home in Brooklyn NYC

When landscape designer and Vogue Contributing Editor Miranda Brooks , her architect husband, Bastien Halard, and their two daughters, Poppy, six, and Violette Grey, four, left Manhattan for Brooklyn, Bastien suggested they “just pretend we’re moving to the country.” What ensued was a complete renovation of the couple’s charming four-story Neo-Grec Boerum Hill brownstone, transformed into a lush wonderland garden home that feels miles from the city.

Let’s have a look at their lovely abode.
