Today I’ve been looking for inspiration images to present for my more-modern-leaning client’s all white dining room.
I came across this spectacular space in a Johannesburg, South Africa penthouse. The design is by SAOTA (Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects) and OKHA Interiors. Their juxtaposition of twelve Saarinen Tulip Chairs with a lengthy chrome and glass table is so simple and so well done. The dining backdrop of white walls, white curtains to-the-sky, and a light wood floor set such a handsome stage for the furniture, don’t they?
And with a single or a trio of chandeliers similar to these Raimond pendants by moooi, every evening would be like dining under the stars.
As a starting point for my client’s daily dining experience, these images may be just right.
Now I’m off to look for a few more. Let me know: how well do these images appeal to you?
