I love to design kitchens that don’t feel like kitchens, but like another room in the home.  In my own kitchen, family photographs, antique silver pieces, and personal mementos hold full court on the counters rather than appliances and bins of dry ingredients. I like all areas of my spaces to feel as warm and inviting as possible and the least utilitarian they can be.  My clients do, too.  For this reason, I could not feel more comfortable in this kitchen, above. From the table lamp on the island, to the herringbone wood floors, to the exquisite gold Chinois mural where cabinetry might traditionally be, it is chic, sophisticated, and cozy.
