As I mentioned in yesterday post, it seems like months ago, but it was just six weeks back that I wrote about the 21 designers and architects headlining the 2016 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Open to the public seven days a week through June 9th, the 10,000-square-foot Show House is located in New York City’s iconic Lenox Hill neighborhood at The Carlton House Townhouse, 19 East 61st Street. Funds from Show House ticket sales and donations will enhance after-school and enrichment programs for the youth of New York City’s Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and tickets can be purchased here.

A few days ago I enticed you with 10 interiors from the portfolios of 4 Kips Bay Show House designers in anticipation of a tour of the full 2016 show. With 21 designers and architects in participation, I have over 50 gorgeous images to show you. I’ve broken them up into 5 house tours, sequenced by designer in alphabetical order, from A-Z.

Today’s focus is of the stairwell, hall, and gallery designed by Kati Curtis. The wallpaper is de Gournay’s “St Laurent” design; inspired by the wallpaper found in the Parisian apartment of Pierre Berger and Yves St Laurent. The paper’s peacock and floral motifs wind up the Farrow and Ball lacquered blue staircase and eventually transition into a wallpaper with butterflies, all tying in with Kati’s vision of a “path to enlightenment.” Enjoy part III of my tour (and catch up on part I and part II from earlier in the week), with parts IV and V to follow!
