22 of the nation’s top designer and architects will headline the the 43rd annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City this Spring. Hand-selected by a committee chaired by interior designer Bunny Williams, the 22 designers chosen have eight weeks to makeover the interiors of The Arthur Sachs Mansion at 55 East 66th Street, a five-story, 9,600SF townhouse.
MAY 14 – JUNE 11
Over 20,000 guests are expected to tour the Kips Bay Decorators Show House during its run. Open to the public seven days a week from May 14 through June 11, funds raised from Show House ticket sales and donations will enhance after-school and enrichment programs for the youth of New York City’s Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. This year’s Kips Bay Decorator Show House sponsors include Architectural Digest, Hearst Design Group, Kohler, Farrow & Ball, Kravet, Dacor, Housepad, Elizabeth Bradley Home, Silestone, AKDO, 1stdibs, the New York Design Center, Christopher Guy, and The Shade Store. The original restoration of the Arthur Sachs Mansion at 58 E. 66th Street was completed by architect Henry Jessup of Woodbine & Co., Interior Management Inc., along with Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens.
The designers and architects participating in this year’s Decorator Show House are as follows:

Renown as an expert colorist, Alan creates rich and appealing palettes that ultimately manage to make every interior space exciting yet relaxed and appealing. He is also highly regarded for his custom furniture and fixture design. Mr. Tanksley’s work has been widely seen in publications such as Architectural Digest and Elle Decor.
